Carrot Cake Cupcakes

With Easter just around the corner, I can't think of any dessert that I'd like more than a nice carrot cake. So I came up with some cute ideas for decorating some Carrot Cake Cupcakes. I hope you enjoy!
This one was done by using a tiny icing tip and zig-zagging back and forth and tip 89 for the stem.

I used the same tips as the last cupcake, but started at the bottom of the carrot and globbed out the frosting more and more with each section of the carrot.

For this one I used actual carrots, shaved them and then cut them up into little bits.

This one I used gum paste to make the carrot with orange food dye, same 89 tip for the stem and tip 233 for the grass.

This one was my husband's favorite and I just used crushed walnuts and a whole one for the center.

For this one, I actually weaved a little basket out of gum paste and painted it with brown food coloring. The carrots are made from gum paste and I used the 233 tip again for the grass.

Hopefully I've given you some cute designs you can use this Easter.
